Youth from Mark Keppel and Alhambra High Schools created short documentary videos about issues and experiences that they care about.  Their first films are an incredible display of creativity and risk taking passion.

Preparing Asian Pacific American Youth Advocates (PAPAYA) is an after-school social justice leadership development program for high school youth in the San Gabriel Valley. It is a project of the Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC).

Los Angeles high school sweethearts Derek and Myra Roberston fight foreclosure on their house.  This piece is one of four that we edited for the California Community Foundation, showcasing their responsive grantmaking during the housing crisis.  Find more of the videos at Neighborhood Revitalization.

Just starting to share some work.  Artist Kristy Sandoval created this mural for Youth Speak’s new Creative Tech Center, serving youth of the Northeast San Fernando Valley.  I timelapsed the process, which took place over one weekend, and required all hands on deck!
